A CEREMONIOUS CELEBRATION


OF HISTORY AT MTC To commemorate Black History Month and the long tradition of multicultural education offered at the Harbison Campus, MTC invited alumni of the historic Harbison Institute back to campus to ceremoniously ring the original Harbison Institute bell, which dates back to 1882. Ringing the bell has been symbolic of the outstanding educational opportunities afforded the African-American community at Harbison Institute.
