Maryland Will Miss... Diane M. Davis Gerber, 62, of Upper Marlboro, died December 5,
2018. She worked over 34 years as an Environmental Protection Spe- cialist for EPA, Montgomery County and District of Columbia. Her passions included ornithology, birdwatching, love and care of dogs, and teaching others about the environment. She was named employee of the year in Montgomery County for her work teaching elementary school students what natural wonders were right in their own back- yards and local streams. She also enjoyed leisure travel – especially to Chincoteague, VA, care for the elderly, and horseback riding.
Mary Morse Jacobs of Glenelg, a well-known Baltimore artist, passed away on December 5, 2018. Born December 10, 1922 in London to T. Huntington Morse and Anna (Lyndhal) Morse. Her father was a representative of American Shipping Lines and her mother a concert pianist.
Madison Clabaugh (daughter of Mike Clabaugh and Dale Ganley Clabaugh, former owners of Woodvale Farm) married Jeff Baker on September 22 at Woodvale Farm in Frederick.

Jacobs was raised and educated in Denmark and Sweden and came to the United States prior to the Second War and attended school at what was then the Arlington Hall Girls School in Virginia. She then attended the Maryland Institute of Art, majoring in Sculpture. Jacobs settled in Howard County where she was active in the Howard County Hunt, in teaching horsemanship and the Maryland Prison Ministries. She was a well-recognized artist, painting equestrian portraits and hunting activities, in her studio in Glenelg. She was selected by the American Battle Monument Commission as the artist for the Second World War, Korean and Vietnam wars in the Pacifi c Memorial located in Punch Bowl Cemetery in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Richard L. Wyatt, Jr., father of Waredaca boarder Lillian Wyatt and Richard John Wyatt of Potomac, died on November 29, 2018, at the age of 65. Wyatt was a partner in the Washington, DC, offi ce of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP and served as co-head of its litigation department. He was a devoted father and a highly accomplished law- yer. Born in Alabama, his family has been rooted in south Alabama for many generations. He spent many summers with grandparents Martin and Lillian Wyatt on their farm in Rose Hill, Alabama. He gradu- ated from Auburn University in 1975 with a BA in Economics and earned his JD from Emory University School of Law in 1979. He was a long-time supporter of the Benedictine School in Ridgely, Maryland. He helped establish a scholarship at the Emory University School of Law in honor of his mentor, Erle Phillips, and recently established an endowment, the Richard L. Wyatt Professorship in the College of Liberal Arts, at Auburn University.
