As the 2019 Dutta Corp Fair Hill In- ternational came to a close on Sunday, October 20, Erin Sylvester and Woods Baughman were crowned champions of the CCI4*-L and CCI3*-L, respectively. Baughman and C’est La Vie 135 had moved up into fi rst place after cross-


country and stayed in that position after jumping double clean in show jumping. Second place in the three-star went to Col- leen Loach and Vermont, and Caitlin Silliman riding Ally KGO fi nished in third. Colleen Rutledge was the top placing Marylander to fi n- ish the three-star. She jumped double clean aboard C Me Fly to fi nish in 20th place. Fellow Marylander Jules Ennis rode Cooley O to a four jump and 0.4 time round to fi nish in 23rd place. Juli Sebring and Welbourne fi nished 38th. Monica Fiss and Malibu Rock also completed the competition. Sylvester and Paddy the Caddy were sitting in second place


after adding only 0.4 time faults on cross-country to their dressage score. T ey jumped clean and inside the time in show jumping for the four-star bringing their fi nal score for the competition to 34.3. Overnight leader, Waylon Roberts on Lancaster had a 31.1 as he entered the show jump ring. He ended up with a few rails adding up to 16 jump faults moving him down to 8th overall and Sylverster into the the winning slot. Mia Farley fi nished in second place with BGS Firecracker and Jenny Caras was third riding Fernhill Fortitude. Riding for Maryland, Alexandra MacLeod and Newmarket


Jack fi nished out the competition in 13th place after jumping double clean in show jumping. Colleen Rutledge and Covert Rights also jumped double clean to fi nish in 18th place.


Colleen Rutledge of Freder- ick and C Me Fly placed 20th overall in the CCI3*-L.
