"DIVERSE" does not even begin to do justice when describing the family holiday offerings served up by the mighty Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the largest in France. For history and culture, there are plenty of fascinating

Picturesque, riverside Bayonne with its historic buildings and cobbled streets, is where huge crowds gather each year for a massive street party (this year's takes place from July 27-31) and it is also home to an annual celebration of its famed dried ham, as well as being a tasty hotspot for chocoholics!
