How we selected the finalists The finalists for the City Security magazine Article of the Year Award 2020 were selected from articles published in the last 12 months’ editions. For each edition, the top three articles were selected as finalists, based on the number of views for each article since publication online. We use Google Analytics to track these results. By selecting three articles per edition, it means the articles from earlier editions do not have an unfair advantage by being online longer.
