Class will focus on gross motor functions with children ages 11 months to 2 years old. Parents will be asked to participate in the class by assisting their child’s development of specific skills. Your child will gain self-esteem, develop the confidence to try new things by overcoming obstacles, all while having fun. Material fee due to instructor first day of class.

The City of Bellflower offers an exciting volunteer job training program that provides resources for young teens in the community that will not only equip them for life after graduation, but also give them exposure to different positions within the Parks and Recreation Department. The LEAD program provides young teens with the proper guidance, level of expectation and tools to learn life skills that are crucial for leadership development. The program benefits them both in their professional and personal developments, while teaching them basic job skills and the importance of community involvement. The LEAD Program is looking for volunteers with an open mind and desire to learn first-hand what it takes to join the Parks and Recreation Department’s team.

Get funky with your friends and gain confidence in your hip hop dance style. We’ll be learning the latest Tik Tok dance trends and various beginning and intermediate hip hop dance moves while dancing along to your favorite songs! This is a high energy class that requires a positive attitude and lots of enthusiasm. No experience needed! Sneakers required for in-person classes and bring water! INSTRUCTOR: Aniyah Williams
