EVA LONG DIGITAL PANTOMIMES
He’s behind you! Get all the fun of a traditional pantomime in an affordable and accessible format for schools. Eva Long Digital Pantomimes provides hour-long, family friendly digital productions that have been perfectly created for children in Early Years, KS1 and KS2. This year, schools can choose between Mother Goose and Cinderella. The productions are interactive and feature all the usual delights of pantomime; plenty of singing and dancing, and a generous helping of fun and laughter. Each package includes a school resource pack with activities and competitions.
NORTH YORKSHIRE MOORS RAILWAY
Get back on track All aboard! The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) invites schools on a unique educational adventure that winds through the North Yorkshire Moors National Park into some incredible landscapes and Sites of Special Scientifi c Interest. School packages offer KS1 and KS2 pupils a hands-on experience that connects pupils with history, science, engineering and geography. Having been developed in collaboration with teachers and community groups, they align with cross-curricular objectives while keeping pupils engaged with fun and practical activities. To help schools plan their visit, the NYMR offers a free familiarisation visit for teachers. There’s a tiered system to ensure schools can

‘I joined Barry Island Primary School in the middle of a Covid lockdown. The school is in such a lovely area where teachers would usually take children out on trips, but during lockdown that completely stopped. So, using the VR headsets, we could give the children experiences that were as close to real life as possible. We have worked alongside the Welsh Coastal Monitoring Centre on an exciting project where they used 360-degree cameras to capture beach profi les along the Welsh coast.
