3 Offer
BU makes an offer to you in two weeks*:
• A conditional offer means you need to provide further evidence and your offer will contain full details of what is required
• An unconditional offer means you have met all of our entry requirements and you are ready to join the course.

Accept
To confirm your place at BU, you must formally accept your offer:
• Undergraduate applicants do this by accepting the offer via UCAS track online
• Postgraduate applicants can reply directly to the university and non-EU students must pay a £2,000 deposit to secure their place
• Sponsored students must provide official evidence of sponsorship.
Prepare
• Non-EU students will receive their CAS for visa applications from three months before the course starts
• Apply for a student visa
• Apply for university accommodation at
www.bournemouth.ac.uk/ accommodation before the deadline (see page 26).
Arrive
• Book your flights and pack your suitcases
• Arrange onward transport to BU. We provide an airport transfer service which you need to book at
