Latest version of the most popular shape used by professional racers is a major step forward in composite technology. The New style T11 is smooth on the back, with totally consistent performance and a very high quality laminate. The T11 shape was originally created for taller drivers who can suff er as the track gets grippy. The fl at bottom coupled with the more reclined angle creates a low head position which lowers the centre of gravity and gives better aerodynamics. Sizes: XS, S, Man. The seat has been released initially for smaller drivers, with an upright back position and additional leg support. The reason for only having four small sizes is that older juniors and adults are typically strong enough and bracing with the legs is not necessary. The added support can be ideal for classes where a particularly small or inexperienced driver struggles to control a faster kart. The fl at bottom on this shape is set at 63 degrees, which helps achieve a low centre of gravity whilst retaining an upright driving position. The more upright body position and thus more powerful shoulder turn of the T5, helps the young racers.
