During the same luncheon, the Association honored four individuals for their service and dedication to the of the Chiropractic Quality Assurance Commission, was presented with the Citizen of the Year Award. CQAC, and in recognition of the fact that he will be stepping down from the Commission at the end of his current term.
10th year with the Association, Membership Director highlighting the unmatched level of personal service he provides the membership. Next, Dr. Shawn Gay presented the President’s Award to Dr. J. Michael Schweitzer. The President’s Award is given to any individual selected by the sitting president of the association who has made a critical contribution to the president’s success while in office. Dr. Schweitzer Dr. Gay noted that he is not always “politically correct,” but that Dr. Schweitzer had done a great job this past year adding a diplomatic presence on the Board.
Finally, the highest award of the WSCA, Chiropractor of the Year was presented. As is tradition, the award is presented by the previous year’s recipient—in this case Dr. Gina Wolf. Dr. Wolf presented the award to Dr. Paul Reed for his outstanding service on the WSCA Board, commitment to the profession, and his generous support of the WSCA membership drive through his signature event, ChiroFest.
We learn new things about our members every day, and add new ways to serve them almost as often. The of this year’s conference, as well a few lessons learned, and will incorporate them all into next year’s place October 19-20, 2018 at the Hilton Bellevue.
