SCA District 1 will be hosting upcoming events. A Free District 1 Philosophy Night “Saturday Night
Live” is planned for the evening of September 20, 2014. Bonanzas to be held: November 7-9, 2014
December 5-7, 2014 along with Holiday Ball January 10, 2015 February 7, 2015.

he MSCA District 2 Board is on hiatus for the summer until September. Meetings will resume on September 4 of the month. All MSCA members are welcome to attend. MSCA District 2 PAC is looking for donations for the silent auction which will be held during convention. Contact Dr. Russ Matthias with any donations. MSCA PAC is also starting to plan fundraisers and luncheons for the next round of political primaries. Please be ready to support candidates who are aligned with our chiropractic philosophy. Make sure to take a look at the electronic billboard on I35 southbound near Armour Rd. District 2 has purchased space with a chiropractic message!
UNIVERSITY COLLEGE UPDATE

ogan University held its 173rd commencement for the degrees of Doctor of Chiropractic, Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance, and Master of Sports Science and Rehabilitation on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in the William D. Purser, DC Center on the Logan campus, in ceremony, which included the academic hooding of each graduate, honored 70 students with the conferral of Logan’s Clay McDonald, DC, MBA, JD. In addition, 23 students were conferred with the Masters
of Science degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and nine students with the Masters of Science degree in Nutrition and Human Performance. Daniel W. Haun, DC, DACBR, an associate professor served as master of ceremonies. The

commencement speaker was Carl S. Cleveland, III, DC, President of Cleveland University in Kansas City, Kan. Five Doctor of Chiropractic graduates were recognized with special academic honors. They included: valedictorian Heather Catherine Davis, Vincent J. Cavallaro, Anna Catharine Schueneman, Grant Sanders and Katie Ann Smith—cum laude. Twelve Master of Science students graduated were recognized for Honors with Distinction for graduating with a GPA of 3.8 or better. They were: Cory Stanwyck Davis, DC; Erica Michelle Gaitley, DC; MaryAnne Harrington, DC; Kiran Kanwar; Joshua Bodine Lederman, DC; Andrew Nibbe, DC; Amanda Marie Smith, DC; Abbi Nicole Sunner, DC; James Vincent Taylor, DC; Anna Lisa Vogel, DC.
