his year brings new and exciting challenges for me in both my personal and professional life! Te year begins as I take my new position
as President of the CAI California North Chapter for 2020.
Many of you already know that my family is a military family and that I have several relatives that are ei- ther in the military or serve as first responders in their respective com- munities. I am incredibly proud of them and the service they provide so selflessly, and in their honor, I would like to focus on SERVICE as the theme for our Chapter this year.
My first challenge will be in main- taining the incredible momentum of our Immediate Past President, Christina Keele. She did an amazing job and I owe her a huge THANK YOU for her guidance in pre- paring me for this monumental task. I am up for the challenge and will do my very best to SERVE you and our community over the course of the next 12 months.
I am honored to serve beside an amazing group of pro- fessionals on the Board of Directors and look forward to collaborating with them and learning from them as we traverse our way through the upcoming year. With that, I would like to welcome our newest 2020 Board Members, Richard Nevarez of Te Parkway at Folsom Owners Association and Miranda Ward of Adams
Stirling PLC. I look forward to their contributions to our Board and Chapter.
Of course, incoming Board Mem- bers means that we also have outgo- ing Board Members.
I would like
to thank Christina Keele and Judy Silva for their years of service on the Board. I look forward to continu- ing to see them at our many func- tions!
I am pleased to announce John Hansen of Baydaline and Jacobsen, LLP as our President Elect and am confident that he will lead the Cali- fornia North Chapter with altruism and diplomacy as President in 2021!
Our chapter has grown tremendous-
ly in the past year and I hope to continue the trend of upward growth, both in numbers and in achieve- ments. Make sure to check out the 2020 calendar of events so that you can plan accordingly to attend our amazing luncheons, legal forums, and social events!
I look forward to the exciting year ahead of us and I am delighted to serve with you.
