ummer of 2026 Worldwide will not be forgotten. In the UK and Europe, we are experiencing
extreme heatwaves, drought and wildfires. Extreme caution must be taken in our daily environments. Welding is a hot process. The PPE
safety clothing that must be worn is designed to protect you from hot sparks. Fume extraction systems used provide you with a clean and contaminant free breathing zone. You must now take extra care while welding during the extreme Summer temperature. Remember to keep hydrated, drink plenty of water. Be very aware of heat exhaustion. It is worth saying again - take extra care while welding. Always put your safety first. The UK economy remains under
strain. The UK Government has a New Prime Minister, Andy Burnham. We welcome him and his team to No 10. We now wait to see if the political agendas that affect the Engineering sectors will be relaxed to allow projects in construction and other areas to open
up. Keep updated in your area for news. Welding World magazine keeps
