Seychelles Home to 115 islands, the Seychelles has a pleasant tropical climate all year round. The laid-back charm and seclusion afforded by private islands makes this an ideal choice for honeymooners, but there are plenty of small towns to explore for those wanting more action. Couples can soak up the carnival-like local atmosphere on the main island of Mahé. For wildlife-lovers, sea turtles and manta rays are found in the water off all the islands in the Seychelles, but are most commonly seen from Bird and Denis islands. The famous Seychelles Black Parrot can also be seen on Curieuse Island. It’s easy to go island hopping in the Seychelles, with each island offering a unique history, culture and landscape.
Mozambique Mozambique is the perfect romantic destination for those looking to get off the beaten track. A major draw is that it remains largely undeveloped and unexplored. The island archipelagos of Bazaruto and the Quirimbas are known for their unspoilt beauty and clear waters, with mile upon mile of reefs. The best time to visit is May to October, when it’s dry and temperatures are at their lowest. Popular beaches like Tofo offer a friendly, laid-back vibe, a small but exciting nightlife and great diving and snorkeling. There are three species of turtle, while spinner and humpback dolphins can also be seen. From beach huts to serviced villas, private island retreats to upscale luxury hotels, every taste and preference is covered.
