MORE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES


• Designed to bring new talent to the industry, ASTA launched a comprehensive roadmap educational offering intended for individuals seeking to enter the travel agency industry, to promote their careers and to help new entrants take the necessary first steps — the Roadmap to Becoming a Travel Advisor course.


• The ASTA Verified Travel Advisor Certification Program has more than 1,000 travel advisors enrolled to date. Recently, ASTA has expanded its VTA course offerings for experienced advisors with new courses on Diversity and Inclusion, Customer Service, Artificial Intelligence, Bankruptcy, and Accounting and Finance.


MORE SAVINGS


• In 2021, ASTA revved its Member Advantage Program to include more vendors and programs for cost savings. In addition to the Health Insurance program already in place, ASTA introduced its partnership


with Answer Financial to provide members with Business Insurance. Services include professional liability (Errors and Omissions Insurance), general commercial liability, commercial auto insurance, and more.

• Private Facebook Group for Members – ASTA Member Lounge: In 2020, ASTA rebranded its Facebook group to become a communication channel for ASTA members. Group members can get real-time news updates, Live videos from HQ, and more! facebook.com/groups/astamemberlounge
