Experience history on the Gotthard Panorama Express, a spectacular journey by both boat and train between Central Switzerland and Ticino
he journey begins in Lucerne at Pier 1, with a boat across

Flüelen. Guests can check-in their luggage at the Gotthard Panorama Express Welcome Desk and collect it again in Lugano. While passen- gers enjoy a delicious lunch in the ship’s restaurant, the journey takes them past mystical bays, pictur- esque landscapes and places steeped in history in primeval Switzerland. Guests can expect to spot the Schiller Stone or the Rütli meadow, thought to be where Switzerland was founded in 1291. In Flüelen, guests transfer from the
boat to the panoramic train, where they will be warmly welcomed by a tour guide on the platform. T e train then continues along the world-fa- mous and historic Gotthard route towards southern Switzerland. T roughout the trip, there’s the
opportunity to take great photos of the sights and special features of the route from the photo coach in the centre of the train. On the journey
