ostal Grau’s owner, Monica, took over her family’s guest- house at a young age. It was
started by her grandparents when times were very different. Several years ago, she decided to transform the hotel and embark on a project that has changed her life both personally and professionally. Converting the guesthouse into a sustainable and environmentally friendly hotel has proven to be a wise decision. Hostal Grau’s renovation followed
the guidelines of the LEED Gold sustainable building certification, which is based on a scoring system that measures the environmental and health standards of buildings. Te hotel has no PVC, lead-free paint and a circular water system. Te walls have been soundproofed
