JOHANNA WENDER (Psychology, Sociology) provides trauma-focused therapy to survivors of sexual assault as a mental health therapist at the nonprofit King County Sexual Assault Resource Center.

NIKOLE HANEY (Chemistry) studies extraterrestrial samples and soil analogs for Jacobs Engineering at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, to better understand the chemistry and minerology of planetary bodies.

RAFAEL VELAZQUEZ (American Ethnic Studies, Political Science) is director of Sí a la Vida, a program of San Francisco’s Instituto Familiar de la Raza that provides services for Latinos living with HIV/AIDS and those at risk of infection.
