In this role, Bastian Schulte will be responsible for technical support to R&R ceramic shell customers, providing comprehensive product solutions and troubleshooting process issues. He will serve customers throughout the European Union, excluding Eastern Europe, United Kingdom, Benelux and Scandanavia. Schulte joins the R&R team with


21 years of technical know-how and hands-on foundry experience; having held prior positions as Castings Material Engineer,


Development Engineer


and Production Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering – Applied Material Technology, specializing in Casting Technology from the University Duisburg-Essen in Duisburg, Germany. Schulte has his Trainer Certificate for foundry education and was awarded as


Best Apprentice in Federal State in 2002. “I am proud to announce the appointment of Bastian Schulte as our newest

Electralloy Names Thomas Buckley North American Sales and Marketing Manager

Electralloy sales professional Thomas Buckley assumed the responsibilities of North American Sales and Marketing Manager for the company. Tom will be based in Portland, Oregon and will report to Mike Evans, VP of Sales. Buckley’s responsibilities will


include overall sales planning and coordination while working with inside and outside sales to achieve the marketing and sales goals of the company. “Tom brings a wealth of experience and customer understanding to his new position and I’m confident he will excel in his expanded role,” said Mike Evans, VP of Sales. “With over twenty years under his belt at Electralloy, Tom has developed the skills that make him an exceptional choice for the job.”

Buckley worked at Kipp Steel from 1993-1998 where he served as a rep for G.O. Carlson Plate and then joined Electralloy and GOC in 1998 as Western Regional Sales Manager. In the early 2000’s Buckley’s responsibilities shifted to focus exclusively on Electralloy sales and he has maintained this position up until his recent appointment. Tom lives in Portland with his wife


of 19 years and loves to stay active skiing in the mountains, playing rugby, and coaching club soccer for his twin teenage boys.
