to Canada!

It’s a country that offers plenty of space; is served by mid-haul direct flights of between five and 10 hours; is English and French-speaking; has a shared culture and history; and boasts iconic nature and wildlife. All of which are great reasons your clients may be looking to book Canada.

With glowing hearts, we’re delighted to bring you our A-to-Z Guide to Canada. Twenty-six characters really isn’t enough to define all the things that Canada is and can be, but we’ve done our best to try to capture as much as we can. We hope you’ll enjoy getting acquainted with our country and sharing it with your clients.

If you’re interested in finding out more, you can always check out our agents’ training hub, at canadaspecialist.co.uk. It’s updated regularly and will provide you with all the details you need to fine- tune your sales.

2 DESTINATION CANADA 2020

Adrenaline

With its epic mountain ranges, impressive glaciers and the world’s largest number of freshwater lakes, Canada is the true home of all things adrenaline. Thrill seekers can throw themselves off The Rock – North America’s highest bungee jump at 200ft – whizz down white-water rapids or take a heart- pumping helicopter ride to start a heli hike, fish or ski experience. Whichever one your client chooses, Canada will be sure to make the photo album pop.

From grizzly to spirit and all the black, brown and polar bears in between, Canada certainly has no shortage of this fascinating animal. In fact, the country is home to 60% of the world’s bear population. See them roadside from the safety of your car, head up north to walk with polar bears (summer and autumn) in the wild, or book a package to see one from the comfort of a hide, boat or Zodiac. The options are endless – just make sure clients visit during spring and autumn for the best chance of a sighting.

Extending from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northwards into the Arctic Ocean, Canada is a great option if cruising is your client’s thing. Choose from larger, ocean-going vessels offering Vancouver-to- Alaska routes or expeditions along the East Coast; small, Arctic ships heading through the North West Passage, following the route of British explorer John Franklin; or an adventurous sailing through the Inside Passage. The challenge is to decide which to pick.

Welcome

Cruise Bears
