Horrific marketing campaign [by the FCDO]. It misses the point that travelling after having a test in both directions is far safer than going to hug your granny in Bolton.
Miles Morgan @MMTMan Calling out to our May departure clients today. All those who have had the jab simply want to go. No moving to next year, no cancelling – it’s a holiday they
Vaccine: Global rollout
Story: Trade calls for travel restart date Kay Stevens: Unfortunately a return to foreign travel is not just dependent on the vaccination programme in the UK but in all the destination countries as well, which I fear is unlikely to be in time for this summer.

Story: Nine associations join to form Travel Industry Alliance The travel industry is indeed fragmented, but the forming of the Travel Industry Alliance (TIA) is a great start. It is a shame the big beasts of the trade – Abta, Advantage, Travel Network Group – have not signed up. We have to look upon the TIA as an acorn which will grow over time. Patrick Doyle [Posted in response]: To be honest, we didn’t think Abta would be interested in our little group. But it’s not a closed group and we’d be delighted to have them! Danny Callaghan, TIA co-chairman
