Greek capital Athens is being added to the Jet2holidays network for summer 2022. Two flights a week will operate from each of Birmingham, Manchester and Stansted airports between April and the end of October. A range of UK short breaks has been introduced by youth brand Contiki following the launch of its Detour brand of ‘mini adventures’. Contiki is offering nine new domestic holidays,


from city breaks to active countryside escapes, for 2021 following the success of its two wellness weekends in Devon and Wales last summer. Most of the new UK trips fall under the operator’s

The operator is offering hotels and self-catering apartments with flights from 25 UK airports to Athens plus a 40-minute ferry crossing to Aegina.
