Explora Journeys unveils itineraries for Explora I’s debut Alaska season
New MSC Group luxury brand Explora Journeys has unveiled the schedule for its debut Alaska season in 2024. Three itineraries will be
operated by Explora I from Vancouver, commencing with a Remote Wrangell and Spectacular Sitka sailing on May 6, 2024. Departures of the 11-night
Sailing the Whale’s Highway and the 10-night Journey of the Glaciers itineraries start in May and continue until August. Prices for the round-trip
Journey of the Glaciers sailing, departing from Vancouver on June 18, 2024, start at £9,600. It will visit Mendenhall Glacier and Misty and Tracy Arm Fjords. Ports of call include Juneau, Sitka
Lindblad adds four Antarctica departures
Four Antarctica 2022-23 departures have been added by Lindblad Expeditions. New 126-passenger polar vessel National Geographic Resolution will operate the early- season October and November departures at the start of the southern hemisphere summer. The new itineraries include the Falkland Islands and South Georgia. Prices start at $21,040 for a 14-day trip departing on November 8.

Ponant offers two new itineraries in 2023-24
Ponant is offering two new itineraries on Le Commandant Charcot during its 2023-24 season. Prices for a 16-day The Emperor Penguins of Weddell Sea sailing start at €21,710, while the 16-day In the Wake of Jean- Baptiste Charcot voyage leads in at €19,360. Both depart from Ushuaia, Argentina, and include an overnight stay in Santiago.

moments with... Lynn
This week has been a THROWBACK week as we fetched my youngest daughter from Bristol after four years of studying Spanish. It was actually Bristol University’s Open Day, hence THROWBACK. How time has flown. We are so proud of Sasha, especially as two of her years were during a pandemic and she still managed a year in Madrid!
So, we have a busy family summer ahead – and the same goes for Seabourn. All five of our beautiful ships are now back in service, sailing the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and Alaska, plus our new, ultra-luxury, expedition ship,Seabourn Venture, arrives this summer too.
We are also very proud to announce that Sarah
Brightman, world-famous soprano and Godmother to Seabourn Encore, will be reuniting with her ship to host an ‘Intimate Evening of Music and Conversation’ during our seven-night Aegean and Turkish Treasures voyage departing on August 14. This is another THROWBACK, this
time to January 7, 2017, when Sarah named Seabourn Encore at a glittering ceremony in Singapore, at which many of our travel partners were present.
