of the RGS collection. “Te trade is always at the forefront of our planning,” he said, highlighting how the tours give agents opportunities to engage with customers and tell stories around the products. Te collection includes the Epic Wonders of the National Parks, a
17-day tour from £4,449; Grand Tour of Canada & the Rocky Mountaineer, from £6,599 for 17 days; and Latin Wonders of the World, from £5,199 for 18 days. Agent training and marketing

“at the heart” of what African Pride does and working with them was “key”. “We asked agents for feedback on the information they
would find useful to sell Africa,” she said. “We incorporated this on the website, including a new agents’ section with useful destination guides, resources and maps. “Keeping our agent partners at the forefront of travel
to Africa and the Indian Ocean is key for us and this website showcases popular, new and unique holiday
experiences to assist them to do this with ease.” Te search facility for accommodation and
destinations has been added as part of the revamp. To book, agents should continue to phone or
contact African Pride via the website. O’Connor added that the operator was “unable to offer online bookability due to the complexity of the tailor-made holidays we offer”. In addition, the site now offers ideas for itineraries;
the best times to travel, with an overview guide for agents to download; ‘classic’ safari itineraries for first-timers; and a guide about what to expect on safaris. Other content includes details of African Pride’s
“unique experiences”, such as sleeping under the stars or dining with giraffes, and products for honeymooners, families, train lovers or those seeking adventure. A 16-night Classic South Africa tour, featuring Cape
Town, the Garden Route and a safari, costs from £3,599.
