Ponant Explorations has partnered with flight consolidator Aviate to enable the UK trade to package its sailings with flights, transfers and accommodation. Agents will be able to package itineraries for the line’s fleet of 13 ships from the autumn.

Windstar Cruises completes revamp of original yacht
Windstar Cruises has completed a refurbishment of its original sailing yacht Wind Star. The 148-passenger vessel has
had its dining venues, staterooms and public areas upgraded. Signature restaurant Amphora
features new furnishings, flooring and wall and ceiling finishes, as well as banquette seating. Veranda’s buffet layout has been redesigned to create more space. The staterooms now offer
integrated lighting, bedside charging, Starlink connectivity and TVs with on-demand content. The Owner’s Suite, lobby,
lounge, Yacht Club Café, pool deck, spa and fitness centre have also been revamped. Commissioned artwork has
been added throughout the ship. Wind Star will sail in the
Mediterranean and around the Greek islands this year, before relocating to Tahiti in 2027.

MSC reveals regional flights as 2027 Med cruises go on sale

MSC Cruises has opened sales for its summer 2027 Mediterranean fly-cruise programme, with prices starting from £999. Te line has secured regional flight capacity through
Jet2.com, offering departures from Manchester to Barcelona or Rome, Edinburgh to Rome or Naples, and Belfast to Palma. Aer Lingus, meanwhile, will provide connections
from Dublin to Barcelona and Rome. To encourage early bookings, agents can secure
cabins for clients with a reduced deposit of £100. MSC Cruises will deploy eight ships for the summer
season, including its newest World Class vessel, MSC World Asia, which is due to debut in December. Te other ships in operation will be MSC World
Europa, MSC Virtuosa, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Seaview, MSC Fantasia, MSC Divina and MSC Musica. A seven-night itinerary on MSC Fantasia, departing
Silversea opens bookings for 2029 world cruise on board Silver Whisper
Silversea has opened bookings for its 125-day 2029 world cruise. The sailing on board Silver Whisper will depart from San Diego on January 5 and visit more than 60 destinations in 19 countries across Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia and Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand. The cruise will also feature 17 overnight stays. Fares lead in at £75,200.

Avalon launches Rhine cruise featuring comedian Tim Vine
