McKinlay Kidd unveils experience-led tours in Scotland and Ireland
Domestic tour operator McKinlay Kidd has launched a collection of experience-led holidays in Scotland and Ireland called Real Encounters, Real People. The tours feature bakeries,
farms, fishing boats, breweries and traditional crafts experts. Zoe Davidson, McKinlay Kidd
managing director, said: “These experiences aren’t performed for tourists – they’re lived, and our guests are welcomed into them as friends, not spectators.” A nine-night Orkney and
Shetland holiday, from £2,895, features a pottery class, Shetland pony experience, Lerwick Brewery, a wildlife tour and a mussel farm boat trip. The two tours in Ireland
feature the Wild Atlantic Way.
