Expedition Cruise Network uploads 100-plus videos to new training hub
The Expedition Cruise Network has created a training hub for members that features more than 100 videos covering the expedition cruise sector as well as webinars, virtual ship tours and cruise line showcases. The association, which currently has 800 members and hopes to reach 1,000 by the end of 2023, said it aims to become a “one-stop-shop” for agents keen to learn about the sector.

Uniworld to launch two vessels to operate in Europe by 2025
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will add two ships to its fleet
over the next two years. Victoria and Elisabeth will
begin sailing in Europe in 2024 and 2025 respectively, under a three-year charter agreement with Seaside Collection. The ships can accommodate
110 guests in five categories of suites and staterooms. In a first for Uniworld, the ships will offer
two-bedroom accommodation. Victoria will launch in March,
operating the eight-day Holland & Belgium at Tulip Time cruise. It will also sail the eight-day Belgium Holiday Markets and Castles Along the Rhine itineraries. The Rhine cruise starts at
£3,959 including flights, transfers, activities and seven nights’ all-inclusive accommodation. Uniworld president Ellen
Bettridge said: “Victoria and Elisabeth are unique vessels that
we know our guests will love.”

Carnival Miracle to offer nine ex-Dover sailings in 2025-26

Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Miracle will offer sailings from Dover in summer 2025 during a season in Europe, as the line adds 100 departures to its 2025-26 programme. The 2,124-passenger ship will operate nine nine-day,
12-day and 15-day itineraries from the port, offering calls at ports in Northern Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Iceland, Denmark and Finland. The nine-day Spain, Portugal & France sailing
will call at La Coruna, Porto, Lisbon, Bordeaux and Portland, on England’s south coast. Prices start at £950. The 12-day Iceland & British Isles cruise, which
leads in at £1,270, visits Belfast, Seydisfjordur, Akureyri, Grundarfjordur, Reykjavik, the Westman Islands and Kirkwall, in the Orkney Islands. In addition to its Dover departures, Carnival Miracle
will offer seven sailings from Lisbon or Rome during summer 2025.
The ship’s final cruise of the season will be a 14-day
itinerary from Rome to Tampa calling at Cartagena, in Spain, the Azores and Nassau, the Bahamas. Carnival has also increased the number of sailings
scheduled to call at its beach destination Celebration Key, which will open in summer 2025, from 400 to 500. Celebration Key, which will be on the south side of
Grand Bahama island, will feature a mile-long beach and freshwater lagoons. In 2025-26, the destination will welcome 18
Carnival ships sailing from nine US ports. Iain Baillie, the line’s vice-president of international

AmaWaterways adds ‘Grand’ trips that combine two week-long cruises
AmaWaterways has added three 14-night ‘Grand’ sailings to its 2025 collection. The itineraries comprise two back-to-back seven-night sailings, with transfers available between ships. An early-booking discount is available for bookings made by December 31. The Grand Seine & Bordeaux itinerary leads in at £5,270, based on an October 30, 2025, departure.
