Hurtigruten’s Maud to sail British cruises


Hurtigruten’s refurbished 500-passenger ship Maud is to operate three expedition cruises around the British Isles next year. The 15-day sailings depart Dover on April 27, July 4 and August 1. Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ second incoming new ship Borealis will sail from Liverpool in 2021 in its first programme with the line. The first cruise by Borealis is


a six-night Scottish Lochs & Isles departure from Liverpool on April 23, with prices from £599. This will be followed by a five-


night Irish Capitals & Scottish Scenery cruise, before the ship heads to the Mediterranean,


Norway and Iceland. Borealis, which along with

Tui gets festive for next winter with new Rhine river cruises

Four new Christmas Day and New Year itineraries have been unveiled by Tui River Cruises as part of its winter 2021-22 programme. They are in addition to two Christmas market


itineraries, all on the Rhine. All bookings come with £85 credit per five-night


itinerary and £120 credit per seven-day itinerary to put towards shore excursion bookings. The Christmas markets itineraries on Tui Isla and


Tui Maya include Cologne, Dusseldorf and Koblenz plus Strasbourg and Speyer. Christmas Day celebrations commence with mulled


wine and carols, a drinks reception and traditional Christmas dinner. A gala dinner and party feature on the New Year sailing.


Holland America Line to deploy five ships in Europe in summer 2021
