Fred Holidays issues ‘peaks bible’ with insights for agents
Samantha Mayling
Fred Holidays has described its latest annual trends guide as a “peaks bible” to help agents identify the key insights shaping consumer demand. The 44-page ‘[un] packed’ guide
reports growing demand for longer, more-immersive journeys. To coincide with its launch,
Fred Holidays has introduced a trade incentive offering up to £1,000 per booking. The incentive covers all Fred
Holidays package bookings made during a calendar year and rewards agents with Amazon vouchers based on the holiday’s value. The guide features 40
products across five categories: independent touring, rail holidays, river cruise, cruise-and-stay and expedition cruise. A four-night Berlin, Krakow
& Auschwitz Tour costs from £779, while a 13-night Southern Spain & Portugal Fly-Drive leads in at £2,399.
The nine-night Lake Garda by
Rail – via the Bernina Express costs from £1,599, while the nine-night Venice, Florence & Rome Fly-Rail itinerary starts at £1,499. In the river cruise category, the
14-night Mekong, Angkor Wat & Saigon holiday, departing January 23, 2027, leads in at £3,999. The nine-night Mississippi by Paddle Wheeler costs from £4,799. A 15-night Luxury Transatlantic
– New York, Niagara & Toronto cruise-and-stay holiday, departing May 22, starts at £2,879. The guide is being distributed
to 400 partners, with business development managers hand- delivering extra copies to agents. A digital version, along with
sales assets, is available via the Agent Fred portal. Fred Holidays is also the
general sales agent for National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions and reports that bookings for Galápagos Islands cruises are rising at an “exceptional pace”.
