Aranoa Journeyscape introduces range of
four expedition cruises in Alaska US and Canada specialist Journeyscape has expanded its Alaska range with four cruise itineraries. The eight-day Alaska Escape: LeConte Bay, Wrangell and Misty Fjords leads in at £5,050. The 10-day Glacier Bay Alaska Adventure Cruise costs from £4,550. South Pacific operator Aranui launches 2027 cruise programme
French Polynesia specialist line Aranui Cruises has launched its 2027 programme, including
itineraries for the yet-to-launch Aranoa, sister ship to Aranui V. In March 2027, Aranui V will
resume voyages to the Marquesas Islands, while Aranoa will sail farther afield to the Austral
Islands for the first time. Aranoa will launch on March 6,
2027, and have capacity for 198 passengers across 91 cabins. The 12-night Austral Islands
cruise costs from €5,802. Aranoa will also sail to Pitcairn Island and offer five departures to
the Tuamotu Archipelago. Aranui V will extend its
itineraries to 12-night voyages and explore all six inhabited Marquesas Islands. The 12-night Discover the Marquesas Cruise starts at €5,430. The price is based on two sharing and includes taxes and scheduled excursions but not international flights.

Tauck to add ships
on Seine and Douro Tauck will add two riverboats to its fleet in 2027, one on the Seine and one on the Douro. The new ships will double the line’s capacity in France and almost double capacity on the Douro, compared with 2025. Tauck will also start its 2027 river cruise season earlier than ever before.

AE Expeditions reveals nine new itineraries in 2027 range

AE Expeditions has unveiled nine new itineraries as part of its 2027 programme of small-ship cruises. The line’s three-ship fleet – Greg Mortimer, Sylvia
Earle and soon-to-launch Douglas Mawson – will sail 21 voyages across 22 countries throughout the season. The cruises range from nine to 17 days and will visit
the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Atlantic, Africa, Central America, northern Europe and the UK and Ireland. Every sailing will have a ‘Master Storyteller’ on
board, such as a historian, genealogist or art expert, who will deliver lectures to passengers. Sample prices are for two guests sailing in a twin-share Aurora Stateroom. The 15-day A Mediterranean Feast itinerary, from
Valletta to Barcelona, is priced from £12,295. The nine-day La Dolce Vita from Nice to Rome
leads in at £7,695. The 15-day Treasures of the Adriatic will travel
22Countries to be visited by AE’s three ships across 21 voyages
from Valletta to Zagreb, with prices starting at £7,965. The 10-day Costa Rica & Panama: Crossing the
Canal voyage, departing from Panama City and sailing to San Jose, starts from £8,475. The 15-day Spirited Shores, sailing from Ireland to
Portugal, costs from £12,345. The 10-day Europe’s Engineering Icons departs from
Amsterdam to Copenhagen, with prices from £8,105. The 16-day For Kin and Kingdom voyage will sail
around the UK and Ireland, with fares from £13,980. An excursions programme includes visits to Unesco
World Heritage Sites and wine tastings.
