Attraction World to host roadshows themed on Las Vegas
Attraction World Group will resume roadshows next month – for the first time since Covid. The Las Vegas-themed events
will feature entertainment and product information. The Viva Las Vegas roadshows
visit Glasgow (June 6), Newcastle (June 7), Birmingham (June 13) and Manchester (June 14). Head of retail Kelly Hayre
said: “We want to bring the fun and energy back to retail and have high expectations that these roadshows will do just that. “In addition to this, with the
recent news of the US lifting Covid restrictions, we expect an uplift in agent enquiries and sales.”

MVP Travel pitches for agents as range expands to 15 tours

Escorted sports tours specialist MVP Travel is operating its largest-ever programme this year and working with more third-party agents. The operator has 15 tours on sale for 2023-24 – up
from eight in 2022-23. The new options include a six-night Baseball Road
Trip, which costs from £3,495, departing in September. MVP Travel has also introduced a five-night trip to
the Formula One grand prix in Las Vegas in November, which leads in at £4,695. Among new packages to American football matches is
a four-night Thanksgiving National Football League trip to Dallas and Detroit in November. Prices start at £2,275. Managing director Ben Mortimer said the operator
started to sell its tours through Hays Travel branches last summer, but was now also working with other
Emirates and Etihad add open-jaw ticketing to Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Emirates and Etihad Airways have extended an interline agreement to allow passengers to fly into either of their UAE hub airports and out from the other. Passengers flying with either airline will be able to purchase an open-jaw ticket permitting flights into and out of Dubai or Abu Dhabi airports. The tie-up aims to enhance itinerary flexibility for visitors to the Gulf destination.

trip for women, originally scheduled for last September. “We didn’t have time to market it sufficiently, but this year, we will give it a good go,” said Mortimer.

A-Rosa launches trade campaign to promote bookings until June 16
A-Rosa River Cruises has launched a trade campaign featuring the slogan ‘Why Now? Why Not?’ to promote summer sailings, offering cruises from £1,329. As part of the initiative, agents who make a booking before June 16 will be entered into a prize draw to win a stand-up paddleboard worth more than £400.
