Riviera Travel reveals largest-ever range of solo holidays for 2026
Riviera Travel has launched its largest-ever selection of dedicated solo holidays, with four new tours and an additional river cruise available for 2026. The 14 solo itineraries in
the long-haul escorted touring programme include the new 11-day Maritime Canada tour, from £4,999, and 13-day Costa Rica holiday, leading in at £5,999. The operator has also added
the 13-day Classic Egypt, Cairo, Luxor & Nile cruise itinerary, which leads in at £5,199. The 14-day Classic California
tour visits Yosemite National Park, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego, from £6,299. The new eight-day Medieval
Germany river cruise, meanwhile, costs from £3,249. Will Sarson, product director,
said: “Customer feedback scores for our solo departures are some of the highest in our business.”

Newmarket adds trips to André Rieu shows
Newmarket Holidays has added two four-day tours to see violinist André Rieu perform during his 2025 Maastricht concert series. The Eurostar package starts at £719, including a 10% discount available until October 29, making the price the same as last year’s three-day package. The Andre Rieu Concert in Maastricht by Air holiday costs from £846.

Leger Shearings Group has published five new brochures, with departures for escorted tours available between this year and October 2026. All are available to view online or travel agents can
request hard copies from BP TradeGate. Leger Holidays’ 274-page Europe & Worldwide
brochure includes festive breaks, holidays for solo travellers, special-interest trips, battlefield tours, rail holidays, cruises and long-haul itineraries. Most holidays feature coach travel, but air and rail
travel options are also available. There are 16 new tours in the brochure, including
three sea cruises. With the number of rail tours in the programme now
exceeding 40, the operator has launched a dedicated Leger Fully Escorted Rail Holidays brochure. It features eight new holidays, including the nine-day The Majestic
Peaks & Lakes of the Jungfrau Railways itinerary, which leads in at £1,599. Meanwhile, coach tours specialist Shearings has
launched the Discover the Best of the UK & Ireland, Self- Drive Breaks and Discover the Best of Europe brochures. The Europe brochure features more than 90 coach
tours, while the self-drive programme includes 20-plus hotel breaks. The UK and Ireland brochure has five new Solo Traveller tours, plus the recently launched collection of Direct-Route Mini-Breaks, which offer shorter journey times and limited stops along the way. New solo tours include the five-day Loch Ness and
Inverness for Solo Travellers, which starts at £659. Ashley Dellow, Leger Shearings Group’s head of
retail sales, said: “Agents tell me hard copies still have a place in their shops, as some customers prefer to flick through pages, rather than scroll online.”

Greece makes debut appearance in Just Go Holidays’ Jewels programme
Just Go Holidays will feature Greece for the first time in its ‘Jewels’ range for 2025. The 15-day Jewels of the Aegean holiday, which costs from £1,699, features Leros and Rhodes, while the 10-day Jewels of Crete option starts at £1,499. The escorted holidays include flights, all-inclusive accommodation and excursions. An 11-day Jewels of Portugal tour, leading in at £1,699, is also new.

Insight Vacations boosts range of small-group departures for 2025
Insight Vacations will operate 15% more small-group departures for 2025, after selling out this year. New women-only tours include the 11-day Best of Morocco holiday, which costs from £3,416, and 12-day Country Roads of the Deep South, from £5,014. Prices do not include flights.
