G Adventures calls chief experience officers (CEOs). Brian Young, the operator’s managing director for
the EMEA region, said: “A lot of our customers who travel solo are female, so all our Solo-ish Adventures will be led by female CEOs – and this is our way of
empowering women to gain meaningful employment while leading those tours with G Adventures.” The first three days of tours are designed to create
connections, with a cooking and dining experience, a community tourism activity and “epic experiences”. Young said the operator’s trade sales team will be
promoting the new range to agents, offering marketing assets and the opportunity to go on fam trips. Solo-ish India is a 12-day adventure through
Rajasthan, visiting places such as Ranthambore National Park, Amber Fort and the Taj Mahal, from £1,099. Solo-ish South Africa visits Cape Town and Kruger
National Park, from £2,489 for 10 days. The 11-day Solo-ish Vietnam tour includes Hanoi,
Halong Bay, Hue and a Mekong cruise, from £1,149. Prices do not include flights.
