Fred Holidays hails trade sales and its ‘biggest brochure’ 100+

Samantha Mayling

Tailor-made operator Fred Holidays has reported a 100% rise in trade bookings as it launched its “biggest-ever brochure and boldest trade campaign”. The operator claimed the 100%

growth in trade sales came after doubling the size of its business development team and said it had received first bookings from more than 100 agents so far this year. Agents account for 80% of

Fred Holidays’ core business, and the campaign alongside the new brochure includes a booking incentive, in-person training, themed gifts, webinars and a marketing pack. The 120-page Crafted for

the Curious brochure features European and worldwide holidays based on cruising, rail travel and independent touring. Seventy-seven products have a

date ranging from October 2025 to April 2027, with 19 of these having out-of-date ranges. The operator said the options “provide agents and their customers with competitive service, greater

As we are in July and enjoying such lovely weather, it seems amazing that we are already busy planning Clia Cruise Week 2025, starting on September 15. I so love being part of this collaboration, not only with our sister brands but also with the wider cruise industry. It is so motivating that we all work and plan so far ahead!

At Seabourn we are getting ready to launch our 2027 summer ocean voyages and expeditions – look out for details coming soon!

We are also planning some special trade events for

next year’s incredible Alaska programme on board the all-veranda suite Seabourn Encore. With Seabourn’s small-ship experience, guests get to experience the real Alaska, with an elite and passionate expedition team on hand and immersive ‘Ventures by Seabourn’ tours including Zodiacs, kayaks and nature hikes.

Plus, we have two World Cruises on sale at the same time – departing January 2026 (126 days) and January 2027 (145 days) – with some fascinating shorter sectors (for guests with less time to spare!) that include Japan, Australasia and French Polynesia. Our luxury guests like to plan well ahead, and this is good for our entire industry. Collaboration also happens across the pond with our US colleagues to ensure all markets in different time zones work together with our travel partners to ensure the best of business opportunities for everyone.

Being well prepared is a great

trait – at Seabourn, we are always ready for the next challenge!
