Crystal river ships to sail again in August
Crystal River Cruises has confirmed the first two ships in its fleet to return to service. Crystal Ravel will resume operations on August 29 and Crystal Debussy the following day. The vessels will operate seven to 11-night itineraries on the Rhine, Danube and Moselle rivers. The ships will sail 35 departures in total. Prices start from $3,499.

Marella cruise to host Atomic Kitten, Vernon Kay, DJs and more
Marella Cruises has put an all-inclusive ‘Electric Sunsets’ themed cruise on sale. Atomic Kitten, the Vengaboys,
the Artful Dodger, Vernon Kay, DJ Sash and Gals Aloud, a tribute act for Girls Aloud, will all feature on Marella Discovery 2 in the Mediterranean next year. Other activities include DJs,
retro film screenings and fancy- dress nights. The three-night round-trip
sailing from Palma on May 4, 2022, will visit Valencia and Barcelona. Prices with flights included start from £600. Optional extras include
excursions in Valencia and Barcelona, speciality dining and an onboard spa and salon. Bookings opened for the
adult-only sailing last week.

Newmarket releases 2021-22 river programme with A-Rosa

Newmarket Holidays has unveiled its 2021-22 river cruise brochure, featuring 16 itineraries with A-Rosa. Te 84-page brochure – created in partnership with
the German river line – includes a new Classic Rhine and Moselle Cruise, a themed Rhine in Flames option and a Christmas on the Southern Rhine sailing. Up to two excursions are now included with the
cruises in the brochure, which also features departures on A-Rosa’s new part-electric E-Motion ship, due to launch next spring. To help agents secure bookings, £100 discounts
are offered on a range of seven-night cruises and £60 discounts offered on five and six-night cruises for all bookings made between July 1 and August 31, 2021. Richard Forde, Newmarket Holidays’ head of trade
sales, said: “We hope [the brochure] will provide a real boost for agents to have something tangible to help them sell our river cruises.
Royal Caribbean reveals European sailings for Rhapsody next summer
Royal Caribbean International’s Rhapsody of the Seas will sail a mix of three to eight-night itineraries across Europe next summer. From May 23, the ship will offer seven-night cruises departing from Rome, Ravenna, Athens and Barcelona. From August, Rhapsody will be based in Haifa, Israel, operating three to eight-night round-trip itineraries in the eastern Mediterranean.

Titan Travel doubles river cruise
booking incentive to £20 for agents Titan Travel is doubling its river cruise booking incentive from £10 to £20 for each new reservation in July and August. Agents can claim a £20 lifestyle voucher for each new booking made by August 31. The summer ‘double bubble’ incentive comes as the company promotes River Discovery II, the river vessel it has chartered to sail exclusively from April 2022.
