Trafalgar expands into cruising with sailings on Rhine and Danube
Escorted land tours specialist Trafalgar is expanding into river cruising, offering two itineraries on the Rhine and Danube, with sailings starting on April 11. The operator – part of TTC
Tour Brands – is opening sales exclusively to travel agent partners before general release. The eight-day Best of the
Danube on 128-berth Trafalgar Reverie will sail from Budapest to Passau, via Bratislava and Vienna, and costs from £2,649. The 10-day Best of the Rhine
and Amsterdam itinerary on the 128-berth Trafalgar Verity, from Basel to Amsterdam via Cologne and Strasbourg, leads in at £3,149. Melissa DaSilva, deputy

Seabourn’s 2027 world cruise to visit 19 nations in 145 days

Seabourn has put its 2027 world cruise on sale, with Seabourn Quest departing from Miami on January 5. The 145-day voyage will visit the South Pacific,
Australia, New Zealand and South America, taking in 67 destinations across 19 countries. The itinerary features two maiden calls – Wallaroo
in Australia and Whangarei in New Zealand – and five overnight stays: Lima (Callao) in Peru, Hobart in Australia, Papeete in French Polynesia and Sydney and Darwin in Australia. Seabourn will offer passengers four optional
land-based Seabourn Journeys, in Machu Picchu, the Galápagos Islands, Easter Island, and Uluru in Australia. Other highlights include scenic cruising along the
Kimberley Coast of Australia and Fjordland National Park in New Zealand.
15 MAY 2025 A shortened 126-day version of the sailing ends in
Long Beach, California, on May 11, 2027. Passengers who book either option will receive up
to $10,000 credit per suite, return business or first-class flights, unlimited laundry, one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, private transfers from home to airport, a 50% reduced deposit, luggage shipping service, an upgraded Wi-Fi package powered by Starlink for two devices and a medical services package worth up to $1,000. The full world cruise leads in at £65,699 while the
shorter option starts at £58,499. Both are for an Ocean View cabin based on double occupancy. Away from the world cruise, Seabourn Ovation,
Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest will offer 31 departures to 73 destinations in 30 countries spanning Japan, the Caribbean and southeast Asia between November 2026 and April 2027.
