Riviera unveils some 2027 tours ahead of full launch in autumn
Riviera Travel has brought forward the launch of 16 of its most popular tours for 2027 from September to May to meet growing demand. Group and solo itineraries
are available four months before the company’s full Worldwide Collection launches in the autumn. Destinations include Japan,
India, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia and Canada. The 13-day Best of Japan
escorted tour costs from £4,699, while South Africa with Rovos Rail starts from £5,749 for 19 days. The eight-day Canada’s Rocky
Mountaineer tour costs from £4,399, while New Zealand: Land of the Long White Cloud is a 21- day holiday, priced from £5,799.

Jet2CityBreaks adds Murcia, Braga, Geneva and Salzburg

Jet2CityBreaks has added four cities – Murcia, Braga, Geneva and Salzburg – following “continued strong demand”. City breaks to Murcia in southeastern Spain and
Braga in northern Portugal are both on sale, the former until summer 2026, the latter until November 2026. The company has also launched city-break packages
to Geneva and Salzburg for winter 2025-26. Customers can reach Murcia via flights to Alicante

Newcastle gains direct flights to Channel Islands with Blue Islands
Channel Islands carrier Blue Islands has started a direct service from Newcastle International airport. The operation to Guernsey and Jersey offers up to three flights a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The schedule runs until early November. Year-round travel options are offered through Blue Islands’ partnership with Loganair, offering onward connectivity via Southampton airport.

Tui boosts Cardiff links in 2026 with Hurghada and Faro routes
Tui is boosting flying from Cardiff with 48,000 extra seats next summer including new routes to Egypt and Portugal. A fourth aircraft will be based at the airport for summer 2026. Flights will operate to Hurghada from May 2 and Faro from May 21. A seasonal service to Fuerteventura from December 20 will be extended into next summer.

Uganda Airlines starts Gatwick service to Entebbe from May 18
Uganda Airlines said its new Gatwick-Entebbe service opens up “significant opportunities” for agents and operators to promote the African country. The airline is targeting wildlife and adventure travellers, safari-goers, high-end eco-tourists and VFR markets. The flights operate four days a week from May 18 with return fares from £553. The airline is developing agent training and fam trips.
