EasyJet introduces Southend-Ibiza and Edinburgh-Sharm links


EasyJet has unveiled a new route from Southend to Ibiza, starting in April, and a new Edinburgh service to Sharm el-Sheikh, starting in November. The inaugural Southend-


Ibiza flight is on April 29, with twice-weekly departures on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The no-frills carrier now offers


24 routes from the Essex airport throughout the UK, Europe and North Africa. Seven nights’ B&B at

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have unveiled their first winter programme from Gatwick, with flights and holidays on sale for winter 2026-27. The airline and tour operator, which announced


Gatwick as their 14th UK base in November, have put 24 destinations on sale. The 15 winter-sun destinations are Tenerife,


Lanzarote, La Palma, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Alicante, Malaga, Antalya, Faro, Madeira, Paphos, Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh, Malta and Agadir. Ski destinations are Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble,


Salzburg and Turin, while Christmas market options via Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks are Tallinn, Vienna, Cologne and Gdansk, with the latter two exclusive to Jet2. More than 400,000 seats are on sale across the programme. A seven-night all-inclusive package to the
