P&O Cruises lines up ex-UK Britannia sailings in 2027-28

Ella Sagar

P&O Cruises has launched its winter 2027 and spring 2028 itineraries, with highlights including calls in cities in East

Asia such as Nagasaki and Tokyo. Britannia will be based in

Southampton year-round for the first time since its launch in 2015. The line’s flagship will sail

cruises taking in the Atlantic islands,

Caribbean and Mediterranean. Iona will join sister ship Arvia in

the Caribbean, where it will offer 14-night fly-cruise holidays with departures from Barbados, Antigua

and, new for the season, St Kitts. Azura will operate Canary

Islands fly-cruises, which include calls in Madeira and Morocco,

throughout the season. Ventura will sail new seven-night

Scandinavia cruises, including a New Year’s Eve celebration in

Southampton. Arcadia and Aurora will offer

a mix of itineraries to Norway’s North Cape, the Baltic region and western Europe. Some of the cruises will welcome children, while many will continue

124Length in days of Arcadia’s longest-ever itinerary

to be exclusively for adults. Arcadia will also sail a

124-night world cruise – the

line’s longest-ever itinerary. Aurora will also sail a 75-night

Grand Tour round-trip from Southampton in 2028, with ports of call in Brazil and Chile. A 14-night fly-cruise to the

Caribbean on board Iona starts at £1,499 for an inside cabin, departing on December 10, 2027. Bookings made by December 17 include a 10% discount and low deposit on Select and Early Saver fares, while third and fourth passengers sharing the same cabin sail for free on certain ex-Southampton off-peak cruises. A 20% discount on Classic

drinks packages – with an additional 5% for Peninsular Club loyalty members – is also available on selected cruises. pocruises.com

First and foremost, Seabourn is so proud to be shortlisted for Best Expedition Cruise Company and Best Luxury Ocean Cruise Company at the Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards. This recognition by our travel partners is so important to us all – and we look forward to seeing many of you at the awards on January 15.

Meanwhile, Seabourn’s Black Friday offer

is live from November 12 until December 2, offering your clients up to $2,000 per suite shipboard spending money plus a two-category veranda suite upgrade on most voyages and expeditions. Onboard spend really adds value to the cruise as guests may use this towards immersive shore experiences, spa treatments, premium wine packages and more!

While we know times may sometimes feel

challenging, consumer research tells us that for the luxury audience, travel and authentic experiences are still very important, and consumers are looking to fulfil their bucket-list holidays with ‘trusted brands’ – and to use experienced and reliable travel specialists, which is where you come in! These guests are still looking for value, though, so make sure your clients know about the special offers that can enhance their holiday.
