Newmarket bolsters festive short-breaks range with eight trips


Newmarket Holidays is offering Lapland day trips and ocean cruises in its festive short-breaks brochure for 2024. The programme features


more than 30 holidays, with the addition of eight itineraries within the UK and to Germany, France and the Algarve. The new five-day Little Trains


of the Pyrenees at Christmas tour, which is based in Girona, visits the villages of Axat, Rivesaltes and La Jonquera and includes an open-air ride through the mountains on the Little Red Train, operated by French train company TPCF. Prices start at £1,089, including

Tui adds 345,000 seats from 19 airports for summer 2025

Tui has added 345,000 seats to its summer 2025 programme, bringing the total available to 10.2 million from 19 UK airports. The additional capacity comprises 150,000 extra


seats to Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco; 85,000 to Cyprus; 70,000 to Greece; and 40,000 to Spain. The biggest change comes with an additional aircraft


based at Exeter, providing 80,000 extra seats. The airport will benefit from a new Ibiza route, plus


year-round flights to Tenerife and Lanzarote. Services to Antalya, Heraklion, Paphos and Rhodes will be expanded to twice weekly. Other airports will also see increased frequencies


and new services. Birmingham’s additional 70,000 seats, will incorporate daily flights to Palma, Antalya and
