Edinburgh gains daily Delta link to Atlanta
Delta has restarted a non-stop service between Edinburgh and Atlanta for the first time since 2007. The daily service is the carrier’s third route from Edinburgh, joining links to New York-JFK and Boston, and means transatlantic capacity at the Scottish airport is 49% higher than the 2019 pre-pandemic level.

response to trade feedback and available to book now, include the airfare as standard in the price. They include Japan, Land
of the Rising Sun, out of Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham, from £4,499 on March 11 and September 26 next year; and a South Africa tour from Manchester, Bristol or Birmingham on April 3, and out of Manchester, Newcastle or Bristol from October 7, from £2,899.

EasyJet launches nine routes to Iceland, Morocco and beyond

EasyJet has put nine new routes on sale from nine UK airports to destinations across the UK, France, Morocco, Tunisia and Iceland. Packages with easyJet holidays are available on eight
of the new routes, with city breaks starting from £269 and beach holidays from £299. The budget carrier said it will become the only UK
airline to operate to Akureyri in northern Iceland when flights launch from Gatwick twice a week on October 31. Dubbed ‘The Capital of the North’, Akureyri is a
short drive from many of Iceland’s top natural, cultural and historical attractions. Activities include whale watching, hiking, viewing the northern lights and geothermal bathing. Ahead of the opening of a base at Birmingham next spring, easyJet will continue the expansion of
Norse Atlantic to switch Florida link from Fort Lauderdale to Miami
Norse Atlantic Airways is to switch its Florida route to Miami instead of Fort Lauderdale from Gatwick from September 18. Flights will operate to Miami four times a week during the winter, starting at £450 return. Passengers who are booked to Fort Lauderdale after September 17 will be rebooked on to the Miami service or offered a full refund.

Loganair to expand its schedule between Glasgow and Donegal
Loganair is increasing its frequency between Glasgow and Donegal in Ireland for the summer. The regional carrier announced in March that it would restore flights on the route from July, with a twice-weekly service on Saturdays and Sundays. A Wednesday flight has now been added from July 12 until October.
