Crystal caters to ‘slow travel’ demand with 2027 schedule

Crystal has unveiled sailings across its two-ship fleet for the second half of 2027. Between July and December, Crystal Serenity and


Crystal Symphony will visit more than 90 destinations across four continents. Itineraries have been designed to “meet the growing


demand for immersive, slow travel experiences”, with longer port stays, more overnights and regionally focused voyages. Excursions will be offered through sister brand


Abercrombie & Kent which will offer access and insights into destinations’ cultures and histories. Crystal Serenity will sail in Alaska and along the west


coast of North America, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, as well as the Eastern Seaboard, Canadian Maritimes and the Pacific Coast of South America. A seven-night voyage from Vancouver to San Diego departing on August 2 leads in at £2,700.


Hurtigruten serves up new culinary and drink-themed sailings in Norway


Hurtigruten will operate a new seven-day culinary and drink-themed itinerary from September. The small-group trips feature three nights on board a ship sailing the original Coastal Express route from Bergen to Stamsund, two nights at farms in Lofoten and Vesterålen and one night at a distillery by Lyngen Fjord in northern Norway.
