Hapag-Lloyd partners with Emirates to offer luxury flight-cruise packages
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has partnered with Emirates to offer combined luxury cruise and air packages from 2026. The combined packages will be available across the five-ship fleet and will provide passengers with more options to reach ports in the Indian Ocean, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Additional packages will be available for MV Europa 2, Hanseatic Inspiration and Hanseatic Spirit.

Saga Cruises launches five-night sailings from Dover and Portsmouth
Saga Cruises will operate its first mini cruises next year. The over-50s line has scheduled
three five-night mini cruises by Spirit of Discovery, with two from Portsmouth and one from Dover. The destinations include a visit
to Amsterdam for the Keukenhof Gardens, Zeebrugge and Honfleur in April 2026; Guernsey and the Cornish coast in June; and the Isles of Scilly, Guernsey and Honfleur in September. Prices lead-in at £1,822 for the
Guernsey and Cornish itinerary, departing from Portsmouth and returning to Dover. The short breaks come as part of a 2026 commitment to include an excursion in every port. Saga Cruises destination

Celebrity Cruises has unveiled a “date night, all day long” concept to debut on upcoming new ship Celebrity Xcel. Elements include the line’s first brunch offering at new al fresco restaurant Bora, three new theatre shows, two new interactive shows, dance parties and destination-inspired festivals.

P&O Cruises reveals return to Albania as 2027 goes on sale

P&O Cruises has put its summer 2027 sailings on sale, with a return to Albania among the highlights. The line will call at Sarande – known for its beaches
and the Unesco World Heritage Site of Butrint – for the first time since 2018 as part of a seven-night eastern Mediterranean sailing on Azura in May and a 21-night central Mediterranean cruise by Arcadia in October. The summer 2027 schedule includes late stays and
overnight calls at more than 20 destinations, including Casablanca, Malta, Tenerife, Lisbon, Ibiza and Hamburg. Holidays booked by June 30, 2025, and departing on
or after March 1, 2027, will qualify for offers including a 10% early-booking discount, 10% deposits and free places for third and fourth passengers in cabins on selected off-peak cruises from Southampton. A new 19-night eastern Mediterranean sailing by
Aurora in April 2027 features tours to the Pyramids of
Giza from Alexandria. Britannia’s call into Cadiz will coincide with the
total solar eclipse on August 2, 2027, during a 14-night Mediterranean cruise. A 21-night central Mediterranean itinerary by
Britannia has been refreshed to include Greek islands and Turkey. The sailing from Southampton in June 2027 includes maiden calls into Kusadasi, Piraeus, Rhodes and Heraklion. Other maiden calls include Havre-Saint-Pierre in
Canada and Harstad in Norway aboard Aurora. Capacity is being added to Norway with two
additional sailings by Britannia, increasing the ship’s total in the region to eight. A seven-night eastern Mediterranean fly-cruise on
Azura departing on May 6, 2027, starts at £799.
