Riviera expands tall-ship programme in 2026 with two Star Clippers cruises
Riviera Travel has added two 11-day itineraries to its 2026 tall-ship programme in a tie-up with Star Clippers. The first is An Italian Adventure voyage on Star Clipper, which includes visits to Assisi, Rome and the Amalfi coast, and departs on September 3, 2026. The second is a Greece, Sicily and Malta voyage on Star Flyer, departing on October 16 and featuring visits to Athens, Taormina and Valletta.

NCL boosts overnight stays and no sea days on European sailings
Norwegian Cruise Line has scheduled more week-long Europe itineraries with limited or no sea days for summer 2026. Selected sailings ranging from
seven to 14 days offer overnight stays in cities such as Reykjavik, Copenhagen and Istanbul, allowing guests to enjoy late-night dinners and nightlife on shore. NCL will operate from 11 ports
on Norwegian Star, Norwegian Sun, Norwegian Sky, Norwegian Viva, Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Pearl. New seven-day Western
Mediterranean sailings include port-intensive cruises on Norwegian Dawn between April and October 2026, with no sea days plus late departures from Majorca and Ibiza, giving clients more time to enjoy beach clubs on these islands.

Scenic unveils four new 2025 voyages
Scenic has added four voyages for 2025. Scenic Eclipse will sail a 20-day crossing from Rio de Janeiro to Malaga on April 3, and a 13-day cruise from Dublin to Reykjavik on June 23. Scenic Eclipse II will sail a 24-day voyage from Hobart to Antarctica on January 8 and a 16-day Indonesian cruise on July 6.

Grand Western Mediterranean round-trip sailings from Civitavecchia, Rome. It calls at Livorno, Genoa, La Seyne (for Toulon/Provence), Barcelona, Cartagena, Gibraltar and Palma. Standard cruise fares start from £1,048, with flights
from £371, based on the departure on April 11, 2025. Flights are available from Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle. The 10-night Grand Mediterranean, sailing from Civitavecchia to Barcelona, calls at Naples, Santorini,

Windstar reveals details of Star Seeker ship due to launch in 2026
Windstar Cruises has unveiled details of Star Seeker, which is due to launch in January 2026. The 224-berth ship, being built in Portugal, will have 112 suites, with 102 featuring a private veranda or infinity window. It will offer five dining options, a spa and a watersports platform giving direct access to the sea. Its maiden voyage will be from Malaga to Miami.
