G Adventures will operate four Arctic itineraries next year, returning to the region for the first time since 2019. The scheduling comes as the

operator charters and refurbishes Expedition, a 128-berth expedition ship, to double its small-ship portfolio by July and will offer five Antarctica itineraries from October this year before sailing north to Europe and the Arctic next spring. There will be a total of 10

departures across four Arctic itineraries from June 2026 as well as five additional trips spanning Scotland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Labrador. The Arctic sailings include a

15-day Arctic Highlights itinerary, with departures from August 3, 2026, and prices starting at £7,549. Another is an eight-day Realm

of the Polar Bear round-trip expedition from Longyearbyen in Svalbard from June 19 next year, with prices leading in at £4,199. G Adventures will also offer an

Departure options on line’s Arctic itineraries

11-day Antarctica Classic voyage and a 21-day Spirit of Shackleton trip, each sailing round trip from Ushuaia and leading in at £5,599 and £15,214 respectively. Prices exclude international flights. G Adventures founder Bruce

Poon Tip said: “Our travellers and agent partners have been asking when we will return to the Arctic and I’m delighted to say the time is now. “Our expedition product

has always been a huge selling opportunity for agents, as more travellers seek the advice of travel experts when journeying to these remote parts of the world. “My advice to agents would be

to ‘get on board’ – there’s a lot more pie to go around with this new product coming to market.” gadventures.com/destinations/ antarctica-tours
