Carnival Cruise Line has updated its trade booking platform based on feedback from agents. The line said GoCCL
Navigator has a “fresh design” which aims to improve search and viewing functions. It make fares easier to review
and compare, with a simplified list of key benefits and details, and offers the ability to book accessible cabins. A side-by-side offer comparison tool shows prices and benefits of different bookings at a glance. The platform also features
a ‘special offers’ red tag which highlights when clients have a loyalty club offer on a sailing. Adolfo Perez, global sales

Princess Cruises’ celebrities span sport, TV and comedy

Princess Cruises has revealed this year’s line-up of celebrity speakers from stage, screen, sport and music for its Southampton-based ships. The stars are scheduled to sail on Sky Princess, Regal
Princess and Caribbean Princess. Former England footballers Terry Butcher and Peter
Beardsley feature on the roster, as do Only Fools and Horses actress Sue Holderness and ex-Beatles drummer Pete Best. Holderness will be on the 12-night Canary Islands
cruise, departing November 16 on Sky Princess, while Best will be on two 12-night British Isles cruises departing June 20 and September 24 on Regal Princess. Beardsley joins the 14-night Iceland & Norway
cruise departing June 29 on Sky Princess, while Butcher will be on the seven-night Norwegian Fjords sailing on July 13 on Sky Princess.
Another sports star lined up is Olympic ski jumper
Michael Edwards, aka Eddie ‘the Eagle’, who will be on board the seven-night Norwegian Fjords cruise departing August 3 on Sky Princess and 12-night European Explorer cruise departing October 8 on Caribbean Princess. Other stars include chef and performer Rustie
