Travel agent updates from Birmingham Airport’s Tom Screen
n A bright summer for BHX
As we move into 2024 and a notoriously busy period for travel agents, we sincerely hope that peaks is going well for you all. Everything we’re hearing from Travel Weekly is that sales are really positive, which is great news. Here at Birmingham Airport we’re anticipating
our biggest-ever year, with more direct routes operating this summer than ever before. Some exciting new routes help to make up this figure, including Berlin, Tivat, Derry~Londonderry and Tirana. In addition to new destinations, we’re also experiencing
strong growth from some of our main existing carriers, notably with Turkish Airlines increasing its weekly frequency to 18 flights for this summer. Paired with Pegasus, SunExpress and Corendon’s summer programmes, the capacity to Turkey from BHX is strong for this year. We really do rely on you to help us fill these seats,
and we’re so grateful for everything you do for us. We continue to offer 25% off parking in Car Park 5 to all agents for your own holidays as a small thank you for your support. Email
