Riviera Travel to host 100 agents on 10 fam trips this year
Riviera Travel will host 10 river cruise and escorted tour fam trips this year for 100 travel agents – a 60% increase on 2023. River cruise options include
itineraries on the Rhone and Seine. Escorted tours in Europe will also be available and each trip will be accompanied by a member of Riviera’s trade sales team. Vicky Billing, head of trade

Jet2 adds Manchester-Verona flights for 2024-25 ski season

Jet2.com has added Verona to its range of ski destinations for winter 2024-25 in response to “strong demand” from skiers and snowboarders. Flights to the Italian city are on sale from
Manchester airport, with Saturday departures running from December 21 to April 5, 2025. The new service means customers can access ski
resorts in the Italian Alps, including Val di Fassa, in the Trentino region; Madonna di Campiglio, in the Brenta Dolomites of northern Italy; and Cortina d’Ampezzo, also in the Dolomites. It means

Wizz Air to resume Luton-Tel Aviv service with three flights a week
Wizz Air will resume services to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv from Luton in March. Services to the Israeli city will also resume from Budapest, Bucharest, Sofia, Krakow and Rome. Flights to Israel have been suspended since last autumn because of the Israel-Gaza conflict. The budget carrier will restart Luton flights three times a week from March 1, with one-way fares from £31.99.

Eurowings warms up for Euro 2024 with new UK routes to Germany
Eurowings is adding more UK services to this summer’s Uefa Euro 2024 football championship in Germany. From Manchester, the Lufthansa Group airline will operate four new flights a week to Hamburg and three a week to Stuttgart. From Edinburgh, it will introduce a route to Stuttgart, with three new flights a week.
