Prime cooking equipment Hobart, Bonnet Precipan The Hobart Bonnet Precipan has all the functionality of a traditional bratt pan but in a compact cookline, allowing the operator to fry, braise, smoke, grill, boil, steam and sauté. It also ticked the judges’ boxes when it came to functionality and benefits to the end-user.

Refrigeration Hoshizaki UK, Gram Superior Plus The upgraded Gram Superior Plus generation 5.0 was praised for its design and the use of R600a refrigerant, but the judges particularly liked the non-tamper control box and the foot pedal for ease of use in a busy kitchen.

Warewashing Meiko, UPster K Rack Transport Dishwasher model K-M250 The Meiko UPster K Rack has an integral heat recovery system that is standard across the range, which means it does not need a direct extraction system. Although our judges thought that in the main they would specify extraction, this could mean potential equipment savings. Additionally, the judges commented on the colour-coded simplicity of the internal parts, which means they can only be replaced one way, and applauded the side access for maintenance.
