ello and welcome to my fi nal issue of Selfbuilder + Homemaker as editor. t’s bittersweet as am taking on a different magaine in the social housing sector in addition to the two magaines edit on architecture and housebuilding so my hands will still be full have really enoyed featuring your fabulous selfbuilds every issue since started on the magaine back in and am pleased to see it heading into in fi ne fettle with a new look and name more on that below.
espite the melancholy mood from moving on from this great magaine ’m happy to say that ’m handing over the reins to the very capable Roseanne ield who’s actually been at the company longer than me She’s a trained ournalist and knows the ropes of the self build world but more importantly she has a genuine enthusiasm for reporting on the effort and dedication that you selfbuilders put into proects.
really enoy working with Roseanne and empathising with her as a fellow parent of young kids and know she is looking forward to steering the title as its new editor and fi nding great proects. can’t wait to see how the title develops over the coming years both offl ine and online. ublishing faces its share of challenges but like to think the magaine has carved out a uniue niche in a busy market talking about product solutions as well as inspiring proect stories to keep readers fully informed and enthused about selfbuild.
